Hi, I’m Sandra

I'm a functional nutritionist and wellness coach specializing in cardiovascular health, blood sugar regulation, and supplement simplification for adults 40+. I've been in the health and wellness world for over two decades — as a practitioner, a researcher, an athlete, and someone who has navigated serious health challenges firsthand.

I'm a 20-year cancer survivor. I brought my husband through to the other side of a severe traumatic brain injury. We are both Ironman triathletes and Ironman 70.3 Championship qualifiers. I've managed severe endometriosis, competed in figure competitions, run marathons, and played competitive soccer for 18 years.

I'm not telling you this to impress you. I'm telling you because every one of those experiences taught me something about what the body needs, what actually works, and what conventional medicine doesn't have time to tell you. I learned most of it the hard way — by living it, researching obsessively, and figuring it out one step at a time.

That's exactly how I work with clients.

Why I Do This

I became a practitioner because I kept watching people get handed a diagnosis — or a borderline lab result, or a prescription — and sent home without nearly enough information to do anything meaningful with it. They were motivated. They wanted to make changes. They just didn't know where to start, and nobody had time to go deep with them.

That's the gap I sit in.

I'm a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), Restorative Health Practitioner (RHP), and Institute for Integrative Nutrition Certified Health Coach (CHC). I work alongside your physicians and care team — not around them. My job is to take what they've identified and help you understand what to actually do about it, nutritionally and practically, in a way that fits your real life.

How I Think About Health

No two people are the same. What works for one person may do nothing for another — or make things worse. Your health history, your habits, your labs, your stress, your sleep, your supplements — all of it matters. All of it connects.

My philosophy is simple: clarity over complexity, small steps, lasting change. I'm not here to overwhelm you with a 47-step protocol. I'm here to help you figure out what actually moves the needle for you — and help you do it consistently, over time, in a way that sticks.

You have more control over where your health is headed than anyone has probably told you. My job is to help you use it.
